I am proud of my reputation for working hard, defending our citizens and fighting to keep our Government responsive and our taxes as low as possible. I am proud of how we have paid off debts, streamlined many services and found more effective ways to provide services

When I first came into office, we not only looked at the services that the City of Pacific provided, but how we went about providing those services. In some cases we found it was more effective to reduce some staff, combine some positions and ultimately save taxpayer money. In some cases we created hybrid programs such as our Community Services (Senior, Youth and Human Services) department that combines the best aspects of a traditional government program with the flexibility and power of a 501 C 3 Non Profit. In the case of civic activities like Pacific Days, we turned it over to the people with the formation of Pacific Partnerships, now a 100% stand alone non profit entity.
